Advantaged designed materials for direct air capture

REPSOL SA is looking for innovators/experts who could provide them onboard thought leading solutions specifically in Circular Economy and Decarbonization sector. In particular:

Challenge Description
Find collaboration opportunities to develop materials for the direct capture of CO2 from the air together with the design of its corresponding process to create a strong IP position in the DAC (Direct Air Capture) R&D line. Ideal material KPIs include, high CO2 productivity, material stability in oxygen and moisture, contactor design to facilitate small pressure drop, low cost and scalable materials, low regeneration energy. It is also necessary to design a specific process for the material and for this purpose it is planned to collaborate with expert groups in dynamic models for CO2 capture.

Technical requirements
Potential collaborators must have a defined POC (Proof Of Concept) to develop material that addresses the identified KPIs. Ideally if material and process design can be done with the same collaborator it would be of great value.
