Obbiettivi del progetto:

Short summary A Spanish research centre focused in Aerospace technologies is looking for partners and consortia to participate in HORIZON-EUSPA-2023-SPACE and specific EUSPA and ESA indirectly managed actions. The centre has experience in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), in the design and evaluation of information security architectures, access control systems and applied cryptography. They want to participate in projects related to GNSS technologies and applications, especially involving security

Full description The Centre for Satellite Navigation Systems (CSNS) within the Spanish research centre can perform the following scientific-technical activities for the development of R&D&I projects in the GNSS field taking advantage of the technical resources shown below: ACTIVITIES: • Monitoring and evaluation of GNSS constellations performance. • Static and dynamic field campaigns for GNSS data acquisition. • Recording, processing and analysis of GNSS signals • Tests of robustness of GNSS both services and receivers under adverse conditions: harsh environments, noise, jamming, spoofing. • Comparison of performance between GNSS receivers. TECHNICAL RESOURCES • Full spectrum GNSS fixed antenna with 3D choke ring design installed on the roof of the building: Leica AR20. • GNSS receivers compatible with all constellations: Leica GR50 reference receiver; U-blox C099-F9P and Novatel OEM628 development receivers: • GNSS Signal Recorder/Player: Spirent GSS6450 equipment with 4 channels of 30MHz bandwidth and 8 bits resolution. • Portable GNSS antennas • Auxiliary GNSS equipment: • Computer HW and SW for GNSS data processing.

Advantages and innovations
  • The Centre makes use of navigation satellite systems, which are capable of providing constellations of satellites that transmit location signals to any part of the globe, whether on land, sea or air. This technology allows the receiving equipment to determine its geographical coordinates, altitude and current time with great accuracy, 24 hours a day and in all weather conditions.
  • By means of GNSS technology, the Centre can collaborate in the development of navigation, tracking, transport, synchronisation, emergency, geomatic and agricultural applications, among others.
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought The Centre is looking for on-going consortia interested in leading a project proposal to HORIZON EUROPE calls of interest. Alternatively, they would like to find partners to collaborate in research and development projects in the future
