Obbiettivi del progetto:

Short summary Spin-off of French INES (Institute for Solar Energy), the startup develops and offers performance services for solar systems. It owns a “data analytics” software core enabling remote inspections of any solar systems to assess the performance, identify and quantify losses thanks to a generic high-fidelity digital twin model. The startup is looking for partners to integrate its technology into a wider end2end solution and/or join a consortium for Horizon Europe projects.

Full description EU commission announced in May 2022 that by 2030, all buildings in Europe must be equipped with solar systems. This decision will trigger mass deployment of distributed small/mid-size solar systems which will require to be properly operated and maintained over their ~25-30 years lifetime. However, in the built environment, operating and maintaining solar systems turns out to be a real challenge due to complex local conditions that conceal issues and necessitate costly onsite inspections. Spinoff from of French INES (National Institute of Solar Energy), the startup developed and offers a “data analytics” software core enabling real-time remote inspections of any solar systems, to identify losses and equip operators and owners with critical diagnostic information and enriched data. The startup has already successfully taken part into an EU-funded project and is now looking for any partner interested in developing and offering end2-end solutions to address the challenge of operating & maintaining solar systems in any environment. For example, the client identified the following EU Calls where its technology would be very relevant: HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-01-02: PV integration in buildings and in infrastructure HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-01-03: Floating PV Systems HORIZON-CL5-2023-D3-01-15: Supporting the green and digital transformation of the energy ecosystem and enhancing its resilience through the development and piloting of AI-IoT Edge-cloud and platform solutions

Advantages and innovations The unique software core combines complex data analysis methods and multi-physics models of building-integrated solar systems (digital twins), built on 15 years of research. The approach is highly versatile thanks to the high-fidelity model with limited set of parameters allowing to adapt to any solar installation technology and building without weather sensors. The technology exploits an IP patent and has been recognized by various startup prizes / labels. The approach differentiates from existing solution since it really addresses the needs of any solar system: - SaaS architecture integrable with service platforms (interoperability) - No HW: accurate detection capability without additional on-site equipment - Inputs limited to standard largely available production data (AC Power) and publicly available satellite weather data - Futureproof: generic high-fidelity model (digital twin) at the heart of the innovative approach and can easily cover any PV solar systems (existing or future), with any type of building integration or environment.
