The SME is looking for manufacturing companies willing to introduce the laser welding cell in the production process through commercial agreements with technical assistance

Full description The SME established in Northern Italy is specialized in the design, construction and installation of special machines for assembly, handling and end-of-line testing, as well as integration of state-of-the-art robots and related services. The company, born in 1929, is now a highly innovative technological company, well known at international level and serving many global manufacturers: the principle of continuous improvement guides the company in the design and construction of “turnkey” assembly lines, robot cells, independent workstations and end-of-line stations for testing and validation of production processes. The company is active in the automotive, electronic and mechanical sector, among others, and is willing to diversify in new sectors. The standard platforms can be equipped with different standard operative groups for different tasks (assembly, screwing dosing, welding and others), according to customer requirements. Its wide experience in laser welding applications has led to the development of an “all-in-one product”: the standard laser welding cell. Its pre-engineered laser welding cells offer a high degree of flexibility to end customers with the ability to handle different configurations for feeding, welding, assembly and testing. Laser welding benefits: Aesthetic quality - If the application requires the highest level of aesthetic quality, laser welding is the best choice. Laser welding guarantees high mechanical strength of the sealed joints combined with low part deformation and extreme precision of the welding line. It ensures a thin and smooth result, even on very light materials. Consistency and repeatability - Automated laser welding offers consistent and guaranteed quality through the high repeatability ensured by the robotic systems used. Safe welding environment - Laser welding is performed in accordance with the strictest safety regulations and standards on the market to ensure the safety of operators and equipment at every stage of the process. High precision welds with lower distortion - Welding lasers create a highly concentrated heat source, capable of creating keyholes. With less heat input than other welding methods, laser welding produces lower distortion in the welding zone and producing a smaller volume of weld metal. Another advantage of the low heat input is the reduced width of the heat-affected zones on both sides of the weld and the reduced thermal damage and loss of properties in the material.
