Full description The Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals is the public broadcaster managing the audiovisual media of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Grup d’Emissores de Catalunya Ràdio, in addition to the digital contents created by these media sources. We seek an innovative solution based on Machine Learning or other technologies to tag new metadata categories and thus promote gender diversity in music broadcasted in CCMA radio stations, as well as to promote transparency and accountability reports about participation in public broadcasting services. The innovative solution will identify metadata in music files, using audio or text recognition or other technologies, to complete the process of adding new categories of descriptive metadata like artists’ gender, origin, etc. CCMA will provide a dataset containing the following fields: Musical Genre, Year, Length, and Artist Diversity identity. The objective of this challenge is to create a new descriptive type of metadata automatizing the process of new metadata creation, in order to measure time (minutes) or number of musical themes broadcasted.
