WARIFA2 - Watching the risk factors: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the prevention of chronic conditions

WARIFA 2 aims to develop and clinically validate a trustworthy Generative AI-powered virtual assistant that supports both patients and healthcare professionals in the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease, melanoma, and type 1 and 2 diabetes. Building on the results of the original WARIFA project, the project will combine multimodal data—including wearable sensors, lifestyle inputs, electronic health records, clinician preferences, epidemiological data, and structured patient perspectives—into a constrained, transparent, and ethically guided domain-specific large language model (LLM).
