La Commissione europea ha ufficialmente aperto le call 2026 dedicate alle EU Missions di Horizon Europe.
Le Missioni rappresentano uno degli strumenti più strategici di Horizon Europe: operano come veri e propri portafogli integrati di azioni – progetti di ricerca e innovazione, misure politiche e iniziative di sistema – con l’obiettivo di raggiungere, entro un arco temporale definito, risultati ambiziosi e misurabili che non potrebbero essere conseguiti attraverso singole iniziative isolate.
La Commissione europea ha individuato cinque aree di intervento (Mission Areas) e le call attualmente aperte sono:
Supporting the implementation of the Cancer Mission (HORIZON-MISS-2026-02) - Budget: 124.19 milioni

- HORIZON-MISS-2026-06-CLIMA-SOIL: Joint demonstration of solutions to build soil resilience to extreme weather events and support food security (IA)
La scadenza per la presentazione delle proposte è fissata al 23 settembre 2026, fatta eccezione per la call Supporting the implementation of the Cancer Mission (HORIZON-MISS-2026-02), che chiuderà il 15 settembre 2026, e per la call Supporting the implementation of the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission (HORIZON-MISS-2026-04), la cui chiusura è prevista per l’8 ottobre 2026.
